About Us

Sankhya Yoga & Wellness

Heal. Connect. Transform.

At Sankhya Yoga & Wellness, we believe that true transformation begins within. Our approach is rooted in the ancient wisdom of Sankhya philosophy, which teaches that by understanding the self and nature, one can attain lasting peace and liberation.

Sankhya is one of the oldest schools of Indian philosophy, attributed to the sage Kapila. It reveals that all suffering arises when we forget our true nature — the Purusha (pure consciousness) — and become entangled in Prakriti (the material world). Through awareness and discernment, Sankhya guides us back to inner stillness.

Sankhya teaches that our true nature is the observer, not the mind or emotions. This detachment leads to peace.

first and most direct reference to Sankhya in the Gita.

एषा तेऽभिहिता साङ्ख्ये बुद्धिर्योगे त्विमां शृणु। बुद्ध्या युक्तो यया पार्थ कर्मबन्धं प्रहास्यसि || BG 2.39 ||
"This wisdom has been told to you according to Sankhya; now listen to it in the context of Yoga."

Here, Krishna first teaches Sankhya’s view of the eternal self (Atman/Purusha) as untouched by death, birth, or action:

न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचिन् । नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूयः । अजो नित्यः शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो । न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे ॥ BG 2.20 ||
""The soul is neither born nor does it ever die. Nor having once existed, does it cease to be. It is unborn, eternal, permanent and primeval. The soul is not slain when the body is slain"

Whether you're seeking peace, clarity, healing, or a deeper purpose — Sankhya Yoga & Wellness is your sanctuary. Come experience a philosophy that transcends time and a practice that awakens your essence.

🕉️ Heal. Connect. Transform.

In a world full of noise and distraction, Sankhya reminds us:

“You are not the mind, body, or emotions — you are the silent witness.”

By returning to this awareness, we move from stress to serenity, from confusion to clarity, from illness to integrated wellbeing.

Why Sankhya

To provide a sacred space for individuals to heal their body, connect with their inner truth, and transform their consciousness. Our practices are inclusive, authentic, and deeply rooted in Indian tradition while being accessible to people from all walks of life.

Philosophy Meets Practice

We combine the theoretical clarity of Sankhya with the practical tools of Yoga, to create holistic wellness experiences:

Yoga Classes: More than movement — our sessions are grounded in mindfulness, breathwork, and body-awareness, helping you reconnect with your inner self.

Meditation & Breathwork: Centering the mind and calming the senses, guiding you toward clarity and self-realization.

Retreats & Workshops: Immersive experiences that blend ancient wisdom with modern lifestyle tools for balance, healing, and inner transformation.

Nutrition & Lifestyle Guidance: Inspired by the principles of Sattva (purity and harmony), helping balance the mind-body system through conscious living.
