Kaushlendra Kumar Thakur
Kaushlendra Kumar Thakur is a seasoned Yoga Instructor and Therapist with over 10 years of professional experience in guiding individuals toward holistic well-being. He holds a Master’s degree (MSc.) in Yoga Therapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy, along with internationally recognized certifications including the Teacher Training Course (TTC) and Advanced TTC from the Sivananda International Yoga Centre.
Kaushlendra began his yoga journey in 2004 with his first TTC from the renowned Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute in Lonavla, one of India’s oldest and most respected yoga schools. His commitment to the path of yoga has led him to serve in diverse cultural settings—working in India, Singapore, and Dubai as a Yoga Instructor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he contributed to Kaivalyadhama’s efforts by teaching and supporting students virtually.
As co-founder of Sankhya Yoga & Wellness in Mumbai, Kaushlendra is part of a team of doctors, nutritionists, health coaches, and wellness experts who share a common goal: to help individuals live healthier, more balanced lives. The center is committed to promoting awareness of holistic health and a lifestyle that is ecologically sustainable and compassionate.
His approach integrates ancient wisdom with modern wellness practices, including Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Stress Management, Nutrition, and Yoga Philosophy. Kaushlendra’s teaching is grounded, approachable, and deeply transformative, empowering individuals to take charge of their health and inner growth.
Dr. Ashish Arya is a Qualified Homoeopathic (BHMS) Medical Doctor turned passionate Yoga Teacher and Therapist having 15 years of teaching experience Globally.
He is a Senior Sivananda and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, YACEP, Yoga Alliance USA) with a Master Degree in Yoga therapy (Svyasa University, Bangalore) as well as a Life Time Member of Yoga Teacher and QCI level-2 Certified Yoga Teacher (Indian Yoga Association, Government of India).
It was 2010 that Dr. decided to fully dedicate his life to Yoga. After finishing his medical degree and gaining crucial clinical experience as a practising doctor for 7 years, he started to be more and more drawn to the healing ways of the Yogic lifestyle - a perspective that changed his life forever.
His Yogic journey intensified in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram, where he completed his 200-hour teacher training course (TTC), later followed by the 300- hour Advanced Teacher Training Course (ATTC).
It was this very same ashram where he started to put his acquired knowledge into practise and become a Senior Hatha Yoga Teacher and participated in the organisation and execution of various other trainings, including Kids Camps and Adapted and Senior Yoga Courses, model for Google 360 degree view for Ayurveda.
Although most of his life is based in India, he has managed to grab the opportunity to work for a private yoga studio in Singapore in the year 2019, sharing the power of this ancient practice beyond borders, by teaching multi style Yoga.
Amongst many different projects, He has served as a Senior Yoga Teacher at Shabran Wellbeing Resort, Azerbaijan (under Administrative Department of the President of Azerbaijan Republic) for 3 years, Where he taught Yoga to high profile people (president’s daughter, politicians, film stars, Musician, and many more).
He conducted online Pranayama courses and private classes to the global community on a daily basis like the Prana Therapy Centre, Mumbai for community of Doctors. He has chosen to impart free classes and assistance to anyone suffering from COVID as a part of the yogic service.
Dr. is a passionate Ayurvedic cook and loves to combine his knowledge of yoga with the wisdom of Ayurveda.
His teachings are not limited to asana and Pranayama skills but also on how to feed their body and soul.
